ONE MONTH LATER, CHLOE AND PHILIP’S LAKE DISTRICT HOME
 
Chloe is in her bedroom looking in the full length mirror. Philip comes in as she finishes getting dressed.
 
Philip: Damn, Chloe, what’s taking you so long? 
Chloe: I can’t decide whether to wear this purple dress with the black belt or the red dress. What do you think? Should I change?
Philip: Never. He puts his arms around her from behind and looks into her mirror. I wouldn’t change a thing about you. You’re perfect just the way you are.
Chloe smiles broadly, turns around and puts her arms on Philip’s shoulders and kisses him.
Chloe: That’s what you always say.
Philip: Because it’s true.
Chloe: You look happy.
Philip: I am. I told you things were going to get better and better for us.
He kisses her.
Philip: What about you? Are you happy?
Chloe: Of course I’m happy. Why would you even ask me that?
Philip: You went through so much this past year and you handled it all with such ...
Chloe: You didn’t see what I was like after I thought you and Wesley died. I was a mess. I never thought I’d survive, let alone be happy again. 
Philip: I’m so sorry you had to go through all that.
Chloe: Some days I still wake up and I have to remind myself that you and Wesley are really alive. That we’re really together again. Philip, I don’t want us to spend even one day apart ever again. Does that sound clingy?
Philip: Maybe a little. But I kind of like it.
Chloe: That’s good, because you’re stuck with me.
Philip: No, I’m stuck on you.
Chloe: I love you so much, Philip.
Philip: I love you more.
Chloe: I seriously doubt that.
They kiss as the doorbell rings.
Philip: That must be our guests. 
Chloe: You go ahead and let them in while I go get the guest of honor.
 
Philip goes to the front door and opens it to a stream of company. 
 
Johnny runs into the house followed by Allie, then Sydney. Sami brushes past Philip without saying hello.
Sami: Kids, this isn’t your house. Stop running.
Lucas and Philip embrace.
Lucas: Good to see you man.
Philip: Glad you could make it.
Lucas: Are you kidding? I wouldn’t miss it. Hey, we need to talk about Mom.
Nancy: What, no servants to answer the door?
Philip: Good to see you Nancy. Craig. Joy. No, we decided against servants. 
Will: Hey Uncle Phil.
Philip: Hey kiddo.
Will: Okay if I take a look at your boat?
Philip: Have at it.
Maggie, Bo, Hope, and Ciara enter.
Bo: Hey Philip, you speak to Victor lately?
Philip: Uh, he’s out of the country for a while.
Maggie greets Philip and whispers to him.
Maggie: It’s okay honey. It’s our little secret, and don’t you dare feel guilty. 
Philip: Thanks Maggie.
Brady and Nicole enter.
Nicole: Where’s the birthday boy?
Chloe comes into the living room holding Wesley.
Chloe: Here he is. Our little one-and-a-half year old who missed out on his first birthday party.

Finally got caught up on the last week of chapters!! Victor, Kate, and Vivian can rot in hell for what they did and I'm glad Philip left them in Belize. I have a feeling they'll be back sooner or later though.

And holy hotness! The steamy love scenes were on fire!! I need that hose to cool down!! ;D

Love how everyone is asking Philip if he's heard from Victor or Kate! LOL.

@ natajess, back in chapter 13, Philip told Victor that he would tell Maggie what Victor had done and he made good on that promise. Here's the excerpt from that chapter.

I don't think Sami was being rude, I think she was just chasing after her rowdy kids. I'm sure Philip didn't take offense.

I also think that Sami was rushing to get her kids to stop running in the house. Love that people are starting to notice that Victor and Kate are missing. So great that Maggie is going to keep Philips secret. Thanks Kpatch this is just getting better and better.

OH MAN. It sucks having to wait until evening time to read Passions! I am going to try to log on before I leave in the AM. Just have to make myself get up LOL
