Sooo I still cannot believe I met him. It was pure dumb luck. I knew the stars would be in Vegas so we left Treasure Island and decided to walk the entire strip, just to check things out. I had checked twitter and knew a few of them were out and about the strip so as we were walking I had my eyes peeled. Husband and our friends who came with us were all laughing at me just scoping everything out. We made it halfway down the strip and were in front of The Cosmopolitan and I seen this man and woman come out the door. I thought to myself holy crap he looks like Rafe so I did a double take and when I realize it was him I did one of those OMG faces, eyes and mouth huge like I can't believe it's you. He saw me an laughed and did the exact same face back to me. My friends actually thought it was someone I knew because he did it back to me and it looked like he was just as excited to see me as I was to see him. Lol He walked right up to me, I didn't approach him or say anything, I was just going to take a photo of him as he walked past me but instead he came up and shook my hand. I looked at my friends and said this is Galen. Better known as Rafe 1 and Rafe 2. He laughed at me. I asked him if i could have a photo and he said it would cost me a Dollar to which I replied i would give him fifty. Lol. He shook Husbands hand and introduced himself to him. He was so nice and kind. He asked where were from and I told him Edmonton and to my total shock he said he actually owns a house a few hours away from Edmonton! In a beautiful place called Canmore right in the middle Of the Rockies. You should google it. It is breathtaking. His wife/girlfriend/ladyfriend was standing to the side and didn't seem too impressed at all. But he was the one making the conversation with us. I was a little inebriated at this point and was in shock so I wasn't really talking to him. More staring lol. Then husband told him I am obsessed with days and makes him wAtch it all the time to which Galen told him a million times over he was sorry because he knows it sucks. I thought that was kind of funny. The rest of the trip I randomly shouted to my friends and husband. OMG I met Rafe!!! They kept laughing at me. I also sang a OMG he touched my body. He touched my body jingle. Living in Canada we dont get to meet stars ad stuff so it was really eexciting for me. Attachments:

GG, that is so cool and so exciting! I'm super jealous. I can totally picture him as the type of guy to be that easygoing and friendly.

What an awesome story GG!! I love it that he approached you and shook hands with your hubby. Thanks for sharing! That's a really good picture too! He sounds like a down to Earth regular guy!!

He was so nice and down to earth. He was really funny too. He kept cracking jokes and stuff. It was like we were all old friends. It was great!

Wow, what an amazing experience. And what a great sport he is. I can't believe he picked you out of all the people around because surely there were others out and about who recognized him. How nice of him to take the time to chat with you. He sure picked the right person. Something about you must have screamed total Days fanatic. I'm so happy for you GG. Thanks for sharing this fun experience with us.

Wow! That is so super fantastical amazeballs awesomely wonderful. I've never met any cool stars like that, but how awesome that he was cool about it. And HE walked over to YOU!! So amazing. It makes me like him even more knowing that he's a cool guy and is nice to fans. *sigh*

What a fantastic story!! I can totally see him making the same OMG face!! So is he even more handsome in person???

I think that it would be awesome to go to the Day of Days or whatever they call it. There used to be an event in Salem, IL but I haven't heard about that in several years. |
