Another recurring character could be headed for Salem: DAYS is seeking a gorgeous male of any ethnicity in his mid-to-late 30s, with a strong voice and presence, for a new recurring role. The new character, called "Ted" in the breakdown, is described as a "mysterious man who has been betrayed by a loved one and has his sights set on revenge."www.soapoperadigest.com/content/days-casting-another-new-role

So what do we think? Who's this new guy going to target for revenge? Any ideas?

More revenge? Hmmm. Mid to late 30s. Mysterious. Haven't got a clue.

Jordan? Eve?
But loved one could just be a family member, so Clyde or Aiden might work, too?

Or is the guy just angry and out to cause trouble?
If he's seeking revenge against a certain person then I suspect it would be Jordan, Ben, Aiden or Eve. Someone who hasn't been in Salem that long.

Oh fluffysmom, I bet you're right. It's Mr. Larson, Eve's ex and Paige's father.

What I find puzzling about this casting call is that it is seeking "any ethnicity". It may not be Paige's father, but perhaps one of the "wrong" men from Eve's past. That would certainly be interesting.
Or possibly, someone connected to Theresa's past?

That could be @dukeblue, one of those wrong men. But Paige could be mixed ethnicity.

Maybe it's someone else that sweet, perfect Abigail slept with?
Yeah, I went there.

Looks like there is interest in bringing yet another character to Salem. DAYS CASTING ANOTHER ROLE By SOD • Posted: Jul 31, 2014 DAYS is seeking a 32-40 year old, gorgeous male to play the role of Clint, who is described as edgy and rugged. On Tuesday, the show put out a notice for another gorgeous male of any ethnicity in his mid-to-late 30s, with a strong voice and presence, for a new, mysterious character called "Ted". www.soapoperadigest.com/content/days-casting-another-role

Another new character coming to Salem? DAYS is searching for a 35-38-year-old actress to play the part of Meredith, who is described as stunning and fragile with a troubled soul. The show is seeking an experienced actress for this multiple-show principal role. This isn't the first time in recent history the show has had a character with this name: in 2009, Rachel Kimsey (ex-Mac, Y&R) played Meredith, the revenge-seeking sister of Rafe's late fiancée Emily, who kidnapped him and held him hostage. www.soapoperadigest.com/content/days-casting-new-role-7

Thanks for the info @dukeblue. I am especially interested in the Clint character. I hope he's not related to Clyde.

Maybe that's just wishful thinking. Well, wishful thinking would be them getting rid of Jordan but in the past, when a character isn't working sometimes they try recasting as a lazy way of changing people's view of the character (as opposed to better writing). Could it be that even the Days creators are tired of "that look" on Jordan's face?

If they are casting these roles now, the actors probably won't be onscreen until at least January.
