This is obviously speculation, but something that I have been thinking about. Any possibility that all of the suspects are actually innocent and that viewers are being deliberately mislead?

Victor has been off canvas for a short time, but he certainly hated Nick. He was also aware that Nick was posing problems for Will & Sonny. Could it be possible that he is indirectly responsible? Did Victor get some inside information from Henderson about Sonny taking the gun, thus prompting him to take action first?

EJ informed Stefano that he received those incriminating photos. Would Stefano take it upon himself to have someone do the job, thus adding to the list of things he holds over EJ or to better his chances with Kate?

Marlena didn't receive Nick's message until the next morning. Could she be the culprit?

While this may be unlikely, it would certainly create a much more dramatic ending to the murder mystery.

I'd love it if Victor squashed Nick like a cockroach. That is what he told Sonny. That would be a great twist, except it would do irreparable damage to his marriage. Ask me if I care. LOL.
