Chapter 59
Over the next week, the town of Salem began to rebuild. The storm had damaged the Brady Pub, the Pier, and parts of Salem Place. But, the rebuilding had begun. Luckily, the storm was over.
One Week Later
WILL & SONNY'S HOUSE
Will, Sonny, Ari and Sydney were sitting in the living room of Will and Sonny's house.
SYDNEY: We'd love to.
WILL: Like I said, I know it's only been a week, so it might be too early.
SYDNEY: No, I think we could use a party, after everything that's happened. You can count me and Ceri in.
SONNY: Awesome!
SYDNEY: Who else is coming?
WILL: Well, we invited a lot of people, and they said they'll come, we're just doing rounds to check if they still want to come after the storm and everything.
SYDNEY: So, who've you got?
WILL: Well, there's us, obviously. You and Ceri, Mom and Dad, Grandpa John, Brady, Max and Chelsea, Ciara, J.J. and Rhiannon, pretty much everybody in Salem.
SYDNEY: Cool. Can't wait!
ARI: How is Ceri?
SYDNEY: She's good.
ARI: Good. Hope I can have a dance with her later on at the party.
SYDNEY: We'll see.
SALEM INN
Max, Chelsea and the girls were staying in the Salem Inn, at least until the Pub could be repaired. They had gotten the room next to Billie, who was over with Chelsea, taking care of the kids. Billie was holding Holi, Chelsea held Georgia, and Mel was in a play pen.
BILLIE: Oh, you cute little thing, I just can't believe how big you're getting!
CHELSEA: They'll be two in less than a month.
BILLIE: Well, it's a good thing I'm staying for a while, then.
CHELSEA: How long are you staying?
BILLIE: I don't know. I put my assistant in charge of things at Countess W, and told her to call me if anything happens that I need to know about right away, so I'm good there. Plus, I can never spend enough time with you or my adorable granddaughters.
CHELSEA: Well, I'm glad you're here.
BILLIE: So am I, sweetie. So am I.
CHELSEA: So, are you going to Will and Sonny's party this weekend?
BILLIE: I might stop in for a bit.
CHELSEA: Cool. And, on a somewhat related note, you know that Brady's gonna be there, right?
BILLIE: Well, from what Sonny told m, they've invited all of Salem, so I assume he'll be there. Why?
CHELSEA: Oh, come on. I've seen the way you two have been lately.
BILLIE: What's that supposed to mean?
CHELSEA: Mom, don't act like you don't know. You two have been spotted having lunch together almost every day for the last week.
