Apparently Monday's show is supposed to be full of drama. Alison Sweeney has already released the following statement regarding that episode: "I am so proud of the episode airing on Monday, April 21st. We worked so hard on it, and everyone gave their all. I hope you watch. Thinking back on all the pivotal episodes I've been blessed to be a part of at Days of our Lives, this without question stands out at the top. And believe me, as we were shooting it everyone was thinking about YOUR reactions. So ... I can't wait to read your thoughts after!! XOXO"Alison has said she is going to try to live tweet during the episode. Is she really going to find out about EJ's affair so quickly after the envelope arrives?? That's what it sounds like @dukeblue. Thanks for posting this info. So isn't doing great work what she gets paid for? Next time I do great work on my job, I'm issuing a statement too. LOL.

I think that's probably meant to get viewers who don't watch daily to tune in.

Wow, that's a pretty big statement. It sure sounds like she must find out. But it also sounds like a lot of other people must find out too.
I do agree that the statement is surely meant to garner more viewers, which is okay with me, PR is part of most actors jobs too.

Just a bit more from SOD regarding Monday's episode for those that haven't picked up a copy:
Ali Sweeney relates that she and James Scott were called into Lisa de Cazotte's office last fall. They were understandably nervous, but de Cazotte told them that they were going to be doing a special episode and consequently were being given the script early.
James Scott relates in detail how he was also excited by this news. James and Ali both mention how the entire episode revolves around EJ and Sami. Ali says that the script features long scenes between EJ and Sami when Sami finds out what EJ has done. She mentions the "emotion and tension and anger and rage", and she says that this is what the fans would want Sami to say. She was incredibly impressed by the script.
James and Ali rehearsed the episode during a dark week with the director (Steven Williford) - one scene was 20 pages long, and they shot it in one take.
The first part of the episode is all EJ and Sami, but then Marlena, Jennifer and Abigail make appearances as well. Ali teases that there is also a stunt involved and that "there is some physicality".
Ali adds that since the episode is so well-written, she and James just wanted to do it justice, and they were extremely honored that Days would entrust them with an episode like this. She and James saw a preview and were very happy with how it came out.
As for a spoiler? Ali says she particularly liked a Sami line telling EJ that they've done many things to each other, but she thought this was a line he could never cross.
