About 3 hours after it happened, I checked on her and it was a huge lump instead of a dent. She slept 12 hours and just got up. She seems to be OK. I think it was more my mommy worry then anything! Thanks for asking guys!

That's what we do as Mommys. Worry about our kids! I am glad that she is okay.

I'm so glad she is ok GG!!
I know exactly what that feels like. When jacob was about 2 months old, my grandpa was holding him in the swing. All of a sudden the chain on the swing snapped and Jacob and my grandpa hit the floor (it was linoleum laid on top of concrete). The swing come back and hit my grandpa in the head and left a gash but that was it. There were no signs of injury on Jacob other than I saw & heard his head hit the floor. Being a new mom, broke, & frantic, I called the ER and they had told me not to let him go to sleep for 2 hours (it was 8:00 at night and he was already SOOOO sleepy). They said that in that two hours, to keep him awake and responding. They had said that if he was going to show any signs of head trauma it would be in that 2 hours. They told me what to look for and to call them back after 2 hours (they said that that's what they woudl have done there anyway and it would be more calming to him if he was in a familiar environment). It was very tough because he cried the entire time, but after about an hour a a half it went from being a cry of being in pain and scared to a cry of exhaustion. Fortunately, no other signs showed up and when I called them back they said that he should be fine but told me what to watch for the rest of the night and if I saw any indication of those signs then he needed to be admitted immediately. Thank the Lord above that we did not have to call or go to the ER that night.

How terrifying Mae! I am so glad that he was fine. It is so horrible when your child is hurt and you feel like there's nothing you can do but try to comfort them.
