A handy recap in case you missed a few Days… or you’re still groggy from the Halo and the local hypnotist isn’t available.
JJ was charged with Deimos’s murder, which should reassure everyone, on account of the fact that the first person arrested and/or charged never, ever winds up being guilty, but these people are all like the Drew Barrymore character from 50 First Dates and consistently fail to retain any kind of lessons from their pasts, so it isn’t all that surprising that they're all freaking out. Lani underwent hypnosis in hopes of remembering something that would clear JJ, but all she managed to do was turn up proof that cleared her and Eli. Sonny was plagued by memories of standing over Deimos’s dead body and jumped to the natural conclusion — that he must be the murderer — so he raced down to the station and confessed.
Abigail was truly grateful for that great daycare offered by the Salem PD, which allowed her to slip out in the middle of the workday and marry Dario. Thanks to said daycare, Chad was also free to prowl around town, which allowed him and Gabi (who continues to dress solely in the Pussycat Dolls for Ballistix line, no matter the time of day or night) to stand in as witnesses for the marriage. Afterward, Chad confessed to Gabi what went down between him and Abigail the night they were drugged with Halo.
After another of Kayla’s patients passed away — presumably because she forgot to prescribe True Love as the cure for his condition — she came under fire for an inconsistency in the medications listed on his chart. Tripp leapt to Kayla’s defense, and she was cleared after it was proven that the patient received the proper medication after all. Tripp, unaware that homicide is simply a rite of passage in Salem these days, expressed doubts to Jade about following through with their plan, while Kayla questioned her own abilities as a doctor.
Brady was troubled to learn that Eric and Nicole spent the night together in bed after being drugged with Halo, which is a good lesson for everyone in not dating your siblings’ exes… Steve asked Roman to join Black Patch as a consultant or staff scarecrow or something… Lucas blasted Kate for marrying Andre… Claire hoped to mend fences with Theo, but he told her that he plans to move out of the loft, thought it’s unclear if he realizes that means he’s damning himself to roam the Square and the “park” forever more… Rafe ran around town asking every last man for permission to propose to Hope, a grandmother in her 50s, and though she initially declined, she then changed her mind and agreed to marry him.
